Orientation is an important event at NCC and should be attended by all students who are about to begin their first semester of class for a variety of reasons.

• Orientation is a great way to get to know other people before you ever begin class. You will meet people from your program that you will be spending a lot of time with throughout the year and you will begin building relationships with others on campus.

• Orientation is also a chance to learn more about the school and receive answers to questions from a variety of places on campus. This even will allow you to learn policies, procedures, and how to get involved in clubs and events.

• You can register for classes at orientation with a trained advisor who can help you choose the appropriate classes to meet your goals.

• Tool fairs are held at orientation so that students who need specific tools for their program can purchase them directly through a wholesaler at NCC.
