The Human Resource Management Program is
designed to prepare you for careers in human resource management in both
large and small organizations. The objectives of this program are to prepare
you for careers in Human Resource Management and/or articulate many of the
credits to another institution for pursuit of a Baccalaureate degree. The
core curriculum targets the key areas of hiring, benefits, compliance, and
training. The core is complemented with a strong component of general education
and related business courses. There is a demonstrated market need for Human Resource professionals, particularly those who are proficient in computer use. The curriculum provides for skill development in the use of computers in addition to providing you with the manager/leader mindset through the management courses and theory provided within. It is important that students contact the college or university to which they anticipate articulating credits to assure that core courses will articulate appropriately into their major. |
